3 months old.... just not possible.
The world's sweetest baby is growing up so fast. I mean it, she is seriously the sweetest baby ever and we are all so in love with her. I can't get enough of her and sometimes at the end of the day I will be sad thinking I didn't get to spend "enough" time paying close attention to just her. I guess that's life with 3 kids. During the week if Harper naps I lay on the couch snuggling with her and she usually sleeps in my arms. My phone is full of pictures of her sleeping in my arms because I worry each day that its the last one ever and she will suddenly stop doing it and so I need photographic evidence. But seriously, I spend so much time snuggling with her and loving on her because she is the grand finale and I want to soak in as much little tiny baby time as I can.
Ok enough with the sappy lovey stuff. Did I mention how much I love this baby?!?
So for 3 month stats.... she is wearing size 1 diapers with plenty of space. She is wearing all 0-3 month clothing and is no where near ready for anything bigger. She is a total peanut and has the skinniest little chicken legs. I would guess she is probably 11.5lbs. She drinks 4 5 or 6 oz. bottles a day. She has reflux so is taking Zantac to help. Its not totally under control but is way better than it was. Listening to her gag and choke all day long was so miserable.
She sleeps really really well. She naps on and off most of the day still and when she is awake she is quite happy. She goes to sleep at night around dinner time and we end up having to wake her when we are on our way to bed to feed her. She sleeps through the night and just lays and talks to her self in the morning waiting for Jim to stop reading the paper and feed her. He will say she is up a million times at night but that's not true. She makes grunty noises in her sleeps and he doesn't sleep deep enough to not hear it. So she wakes him up a bunch of times but she never cries or is even awake. She sleeps on his side of the bed in the Rock N Play. World's best baby.
She just found her hands and licks them constantly, haha, kinda like a lollipop. She smiles so big but no real giggles yet. She coos like crazy and loves to catch your eye to smile at you. When she isn't happy she needs to be bounced and jiggled like crazy. She really only cries when you missed her sleepy window and good luck with that.
Jim's input for the month: She has been fantastic... rarely cries, sleeps all night, doesn't wake up pissed, smiles every time she sees me and enjoyed watched Elf.
These pictures are not my favorites. The upstairs is a hot mess with the kids bathroom being redone and her room being tarped off because of the construction. So these pictures were taken in a hallway made of plastic sheets in the late afternoon with a baby who would have rather been napping. Oh well, I got the pictures, I'll move on now.
I love this one... looks like she is really checking out her feet.
Oops.
And because I love a comparison here is Harper at 3 months. And here is Harper's
3 month picture post.
We snuck upstairs to take these pictures so the big kids didn't follow us up. Except we got caught. He really wanted in the pictures and kept photobombing but this is the face he makes?? Seriously??
And then the other one found us. Just as excited.
And lastly 2 videos of her in the last week...
Brady took this one, which I guess is why its not in focus. Haha
