T-ball

Well nothing like week old pictures of a sport Brady can't play for a while.  We have been busy working on the house this week and nursing Brady back to health so I am just getting around to posting these. These are all from last Saturday.

"Mom don't take a picture of me!!"  "Oh, I'm not, I am taking a picture of the piles of gloves."  He bought it.

our saturday

We had a full day today with not much planned and that was exactly what we needed.  The only thing that was planned was the start of t-ball for Brady.  We were all so excited for him to start and he has talked about it all week.

We went to the field and the coach never showed up.  Jim finally went and got the t-shirts for the team and they went out out to have a catch.

And this is as far as we got.  Brady screamed hysterically for about 15 minutes and we left.  No one wanted to listen to him cry.  He now says it was because the kids were yelling and he got scared but I don't remember anyone yelling.  To say Jim and I were disappointed would be a complete understatement, we were pissed.  Next week just Jim and Brady are going to go back and hopefully its better.  We left 40 minutes after it was supposed to start and they still hadn't played any baseball and there was still no coach.  It better improve all around next week or I just paid a ridiculous amount of money for a t-shirt and hat.

Oh and Harper needed her picture taken in front of the sign just list Brady.  Monkey see, monkey do.

After both kids took a nap we went outside to play.  Brady has been trying to figure out how to ride this bike all week and finally got it today.  The bike is still a bit too big for him and he struggled with that, but overall did a good job.  He just went around and around the circle.

So I was still holding my camera from the bike riding when this happened thankfully.  Brady was sitting in the cozy coupe and she seriously just backed herself up and into it.  She didn't care one bit that there was no room for her.

Overall, it was a great day.  We brought home WaWa for lunch, enjoyed double nappers while Jim and I ate on the deck, replaced the broken mailbox, figured out Jim's work phone line, and then had dinner with our neighbors.  Their boys are the exact same age as Brady and Harper.  Oh and they both enjoy standing in the driveway at 5pm drinking beer while the kids run around.  That's my kind of friends.
