the tall ships

A few weeks back when the Tall Ships were docked in Philadelphia we took a boat ride with Pap and Uncle Tommy to see them.  It was a last minute trip but I'm glad that we got there.

Emerson needed to charge her battery so she snoozed on Jim for a while.


These two dorks helped Tommy drive the boat.


And then proceeded to lick each other's faces.  Total weirdos.
















We made it to the boats!!


She woke up just in time to see the ships.

After we saw the boats we stopped in the cove for some swimming.  Harper did a cannonball right into the water but then promptly freaked out when the water was gross.








Baby sister hated it too.

a 3 hour tour with Pap

We are down to the last few things to check on our Summer Fun Checklist and drive Pap's boat was one of them.  So on Sunday we headed out for a 3 hour tour.  The kids were so excited and the weather was great!! 




The wind was making the water really choppy so we headed to an inlet and anchored so the kids could swim a bit.














Harper was scared to jump in, so we were super nice and just tossed her in haha.


Of course she found a furry friend...




















After a while we decided to quit while we were ahead and started to head back.  The kids did their favorite thing to do on Pap's boat (besides pee off the side) and that is to hang over the side and get blasted with water.  Weirdos.

I'm not sure if you can tell but can you see how her hair is flipped completely up from the water??  Hahaha
