meet the puppies

I am so behind on pictures lately.  We went up to Mema's house a few weeks ago to meet her new puppies Stella and Gracie.  They were the cutest and sweetest giant footed goofballs. In the time since we went up for this visit the kids have been back to stay at Mema's and they weren't quite as in love with the puppies.  When we first went up to visit they had only been "home" for about 24 hours and we still sleepy and figuring things out.  But now?? They are crazy "buffoons" like Harper says.  Brady says he is scared of them, but he is a ninny.

Anyway, here are the pictures from a few weeks ago when we first went up to visit.

I was determined to get a picture of all 5 of them together because I know these puppies will get so big so fast and I want to have a comparison picture.  To say Emerson didn't like the puppies would be a total understatement.  She hated them.  But in her defense they did insist on biting her gigantic head anytime they could get close enough.  So at this point the puppies even being close to her was pissing her off immensely.


This picture is just so perfect.












That last picture was his idea, he wanted to recreate soccer pictures like they do during the season and then charge you a pretty penny for.  Goofball.

Harper likes the dogs, which makes one of us.  They are pretty darn patient with her since she loves on them pretty hard.  The other morning she followed them around draping her blanket over their backs.  Maddux carried it around a while before I grabbed the camera.



Maddux got sick of it so it was Zoe's turn.




Zoe wouldn't cooperate so she took their bed out of it's spot.  That will show them Sis.


Except they followed the bed and got tortured even more than before.










Maddux finally got sick of her attention and took off, but not for long.  Those dogs are seriously so dumb.


At this point she was telling Zoe to say cheese.  She even pointed out where the camera was so Zoe could look, hahaha.








This is SO her. 




Stupid dogs, but I am thankful they tolerate her and her antics.
