These are all from the day we carved pumpkins. Emerson loved this activity and because it was her first time really being into it we probably let her do most of the work. Which left a certain middle child bummed out. And the oldest kid acted like he was too cool for school, only to want to be very much apart of what they were doing.

We decorated 2 pumpkins and carved one. But at this point we had only done the 2 pumpkins so "someone" was left out. Her face in that next picture is hysterical to me. She was so pissed off.

Hahahahaha, poor Harper.

Harper tried to get in on the action....

...only to have Emerson revolt and push her away.

Every year Jim carves a pumpkin. And every year the kids gag and run the other way. So this year I told him to carving and don't even mention it. Well sure enough the kids asked to carve and actually did a great job.

Her job was over so she took to chapstick application. Sweet baby.

Designing his pumpkin was very serious work.

I love a good blooper. Haha.

All that designing took us to a barfing pumpkin, haha.

So we weren't paying attention to Emerson and sure enough she was licking the pumpkin, hahaha.

I love these two so freaking much.

And now a few cell phone pics... him during his school parade.

While trick of treating. He and Harper had the best manners and made us so proud. and some of our neighbors give out full sized candy bars and that in and of itself, so basically it was the perfect night. Haha.

The weekend of Halloween we went to a Fall Festival at our country club. This is the kids on the "hayride". Really it was just straw being pulled by a golf cart. Haha.
