5 years later

Looking for the before pictures of Jim's office made me remember I should post this...

We have been in this house for 5 years now (as of March 16th) which is so crazy to me.  We never stayed anywhere this long and at this point we have done so much to the house we have no plans to leave ever.  I took an updated house tour video on our actual 5 year house anniversary and made a compilation of the before (from the day of closing) and then the now.  I have lived here through all the improvements and done so many things myself, but even I was shocked watching that before video back again.  I can't even believed we have done so much and I also can't believe we picked this house.  No clue what we liked about it since we have since changed almost everything.  The location must have been what we liked because that's can't be changed and we still continue to love our location.

The video is 8 minutes and starts with the before and then goes right into the now.  Enjoy!!

Christmas 2015

Lots of pictures to share in this post!!

Here are all of the pictures from the week of Christmas.  First up from Harper's Christmas show at school.  I wanted a picture of the 3 of them together, Emerson is oh so cooperative.



Oh Christmas Eve in church the big kids had a part in the Nativity.  Brady wanted to be a Wise Man because "I'm so wise."  Haha.  And Harper chose a Shepard because she likes animals.




Could that baby be any funnier?!?  Haha




These ones are too funny.  Brady had just been yelled at so he was holding back tears, Harper is typical Harper trying to keep everyone together and happy, and Emerson is doing her best to annoy me by not just standing and smiling.

Brady got his iPad when he was 5 so Harper asked for one, repeatedly all this Christmas season.  And then yet she was still surprised at opening this.  Sweet girl is over the moon having her very own iPad.






Emerson's favorite gift was this karaoke machine.






My rule is we don't leave the house and we don't get out of our pjs on Christmas day so that means no family pictures.  So on Saturday when we got to Mema's house I wanted us to get a quick family picture since we were all showered and dressed.  love the setting up the camera pics.  I told Chris I was posting his butt crack picture!!




I look drunk, Harper has her eyes closed, but Emerson's fish face was too cute not to post.

Harper's Christmas show at school.  She had the job of opening the show, superstar!!
