Not sure where the hell I have been for the last week but I am thinking I have just been hanging low in my pajamas pretending my world isn't going to be rocked in the next few weeks. I woke up yesterday and for a few minute actually forgot about the move and then when I remembered I could believe that it was actually happening, like it wasn't just a dream.
So here is the deal for anyone questioning or wondering what will happen. Jim will go down at the end of January to start working in the Brooklyn office. We will go with him after a week or two. The company will put us up in an apartment for 4 months while they store our belongings. We will get a furnished apartment so we will only bring along clothes, toys, etc. For those 4 months I will pretend it is so fun living in a huge city and try to do as many fun things since we will be so close to the action. After the 4 months is up we will move to either North Jersey or Long Island depending on a few things we can't control. We will move into a house on a normal street and start a new normal life. We are not living in Brooklyn once the 4 months of free living is over. Its just not for us and we would rather have more space. In the meantime our house will go on the market and if after 90 days it isnt sold the company will buy it from us. There are also a bunch of other money perks I don't feel the need to mention. We are very lucky the company treats us so well, I would never move in the economy. So there it is, my life in a paragraph. It should be pretty interesting how all this unfolds. Jim is confident this is for the best..... I on the other hand am not. Hopefully he is right.
And here are the last remaining pictures off my camera. I have been in a picture taking slump recently.
Paging Dr. Brady
He got this Dr. kit for Christmas and has enjoyed "listening" to our hearts. Sometimes our heart is beating in our thighs or on our heads. He says "bump, bump."
I came across a few cars parked on the blinds the other day. He told me Sally and McQueen were out for a drive.
And now I am glad I washed my blinds last weekend in preparation for the house going on the market. I would never have posted these pictures prior to the washing, they were pretty dirty.
Pointing at something he was convinced he dropped down there. I didn't see anything, hopefully he was just pretending.
This picture makes it look like he was going really fast. Except he was sitting completely still just making weird faces.
Chillin on her brother's chair. Zoe was protecting her from Brady taking the chair over.
