{finley} 3 months old

This sweet little baby is now 3 months old and as happy as can be.  She really is just the nicest little baby.  She basically just hangs out waiting patiently for her turn for attention.

She is moving into 3-6 month clothing and just moved to size 2 diapers.  She is such a little beefcake!!  She is awake way more these days and is so nosey.

She is drinking 4 or 5 bottles a day at 5 or 6 oz per bottle.  She doesn't nap regularly whatsoever but is sleeping so well at night.  She goes to bed when the other kids do around 7:30 and has been sleeping through the night making it until 6/6:30 most days.  We had been keeping her up with us on the couch at night and feeding her when we went to bed, but turns out that wasn't working.  She wanted to be in bed swaddled for the night long before we were putting her down.

She found her hands and loves to suck on them.  She loves laying on her playmat and will bat at the creatures.  She is making more noise these days but still rarely cries.  She loves her binky and now needs the straight jacket swaddle at bedtime.  She isn't a huge fan of tummy time.

Everyone is obsessed with her and we all really enjoying our time with her.

Jim's input for the month:
Lots of smiles lately.  Still sleeping about the same. Really not much different than last month.  Still laid back and doesn't cry often.  Fun just to watch and hang out with.

{finley jane} 2 months old

2 months old and oh so perfect.  She is a fat happy baby who has a serious fan club.  And I swear I took these pictures on the 30th, just didn't get around to posting them until now.

She just now switching to 5oz. bottles and drinks 5 or 6 of them.  She wears size one diapers and 0-3 month clothes and is quickly heading towards the next sizes up.

She sleeps the same at night.  Bed and bottle around 10 when we go to bed, up sometime between 1 and 4 to eat, and right back to sleep until the morning like 6 or 7am.  She sleeps next to Jim in the rock n play and doesn't care too much if she is swaddled or not.  She doesn't get the hiccups as much anymore thankfully because that would keep me awake at night.

She spends more time awake these days.  If we are out and about she will still sleep in her bucket.  If we are home she will stay awake early in the morning during the breakfast time.  She hangs out in the bouncy seat on the counter and the kids chat with her.  Or she hangs in the rock n play next to the fireplace waiting for someone to come smile at her.  She still spends most of the day sleeping and is currently loving her swing.  She slept in the swing this week during some really loud and intense renovations going on all around her and never flinched. She naps either in my arms or in the swing.

We get lots of huge smiles these days and I feel like a giggle is pretty close.  She tried out her playmate the other day and was very interested in those hanging creatures.  She still keeps her hands clenched tight and prefers her legs pulled up under her when you hold her.  She had her first cold this month with all those germs the kids bring home from school.  She also goes to the Y now with us every morning and has been great in the nursery.

She loves her binky and is still holding onto all that dark hair.  When its wet it is curly so I cannot wait to see what it looks like.  It even has a reddish tint to it and her eyebrows look red but I think Harper's did as well and she sports beautiful blonde hair.

Jim's input for the month:
"She has been fantastic.  Hardly ever cries.  Barely ever burps.  But her sleep hasn't progressed even though she was nearly perfect since day one, waking up only once per night.  I think she does look like the other two girls.  Next year I am taking her to Wing Bowl 26."















She kept tipping over but didn't mind it one bit...
