christmas tree farm 2012

We went out this afternoon to cut down our Christmas tree.  We met up with the Butakis family which was great because then we were able to get a family picture.  Oh, and Bryan brought a sawzall which made cutting down the tree WAY easier.  Out in the field the trees looked miniature and then we got it home.  Hahaha.  Not miniature at all.  Actually it scraped the hell out of the ceiling in the living room trying to stand it up.

This was Brady's 1st choice, luckily we were able to convince him the other one was better.

As good as we were going to get, Harper was miserable in the cold.








That sweet moment between Reilly and Brady made me smile.


The kids all yelled TIMBER when the trees got cut down and loved it!!


We told the boys they needed to lift the tree and put it in the wagon.  They tried so hard and then Brady got so pissed he wasn't strong enough to get it in there.










We were all pretty fascinated by the tree wrapping machine.
