4th of July parade

Late last night we were told of a parade in a nearby town for the 4th of July.  We knew nothing about the town or parade route so we basically just drove near where we thought it might be and got so lucky.  We managed to find a stone wall right at the beginning of the parade route to sit and watch.  This meant that the floats were just starting to throw their candy and were very generous.  Brady ended up filling up his hat to the brim with candy.  The only downside... the parade lasted no longer than 10 minutes.  Haha, quickest parade I have ever seen but they didn't care.

Running out to grab the candy.  They were the only kids sitting anywhere near us so there wasn't much competition to grab the candy.  The only time he didn't bother to collect candy was when they threw out peanuts.

Its over, time to eat some candy.  Forget that it was 10:13am and they ate cupcakes for breakfast, hahaha.  My mother of the year trophy should be here in the morning.
